As soon as I tried the Borgani straight soprano I knew it was unique. It has its own voice. Very in tune and very beautiful sounding. The pitch is fantastic, and the colors that it contains sonically are absolutely mesmerizing. It is the ultimate straight soprano saxophone! In my mind it is a modern classic. I use the "extension" on it as well as the "ribbed bell", that Borgani has designed. These aspects are a total innovation for the soprano! And the same is for Borgani Alto model with such a vivid and personal sound and for the new CURVED soprano: in a word, EXCELLENT! Thesesaxophones are grandly conceived and fully realized on every level. I think Borgani did all of us a favor in the sax world, making instruments with such a quality and class. |
